Hello Friends!
Okay so I'm sort of falling behind on that whole once a week thing aren't I? School started back up this week which means that things are definitely more hectic around our house, but that's no surprise. Since the first of the year, I got the fabric for 4 quilts, 1 bed size, 2 throw size and 1 table runner. However I haven't had the time to work on them, I'm still working on the shoo fly quilt that I had started, I almost have all of the blocks finished so I can start putting the quilt top together soon, hopefully this weekend. My weekend is actually pretty open and though the past couple of days have been really nice weather wise, its supposed to get cold again tomorrow so that will be perfect for wearing my fuzzy socks and camping out in my craft room. Speaking of my craft room, look at what my hubby did for me:
Isn't this pegboard just perfect? I love it! For Christmas my grandfather gave me a visa giftcard and I used it to purchase a set of square rulers. The largest two rulers were too wide for the caddy I was using for my rulers so the hubs put up this pegboard for me on New Year's Day. Now all of my rulers have a home, so do my scissors and my rotary cutter. I love it! Well, the boy has been invited to a birthday party this weekend so we have to go get a present for the honoree, and after that the hubs said he'll take us all out for ice cream, and of course, who am I to say no to ice cream? Hope your weekend is SEW happy (and SEW warm!).
